Course Overview

Ok, with the introductions over, let's get into what lies ahead. This Course Contents page is evolving and changing from time to time in response to feedback from students. Whilst there may seem to be a lot of lessons, some are quite short - a matter of minutes - and others quite long. I start with the absolute basics and these really do set you up for success with the subsequent lessons. You may see me do something in a video such as drag and drop, copy and paste which happens quickly and that I don't explain in detail. This is because I teach these techniques in-depth in one of the earlier modules ("Work Fast, Work Smart ...").

By having short lessons, it gently eases you into the course so that you can manage easily digestible subjects and make tangible progress. You can re-watch videos as many times as you like, pause them, rewind them and also ask me questions if something isn't crystal clear. You can read the content which underpins the video for each lesson.

I also point out that the earlier lessons aren't directly about internet marketing, they're more about productivity. Believe me when I say they are worth following and learning from because they will absolutely allow you to get the repetitive tasks done at lightning speed. The skills I teach are used every single day and will save you a lot of time, not only in doing things quickly but in doing them accurately. Mistakes cost time! They will also help avoid repetitive strain injury (RSI) since intensive PC work entails a lot of key presses and a lot of mouse clicks. By minimising both, we can work at warp speed and minimise our muscle use. So it’s a double win.

Key Points:

Some of the lessons are supplemented with an eBook, often where the subject matter is quite deep. Where this is the case, you can still progress through the lessons at your own pace. The contents of the eBooks are more applicable when you come to actually do real work. For example, to get through this course you don't need to implement every detail in the Security eBook, you just need to be aware of it. Same with the Website Checklist - you don't have to follow it to the letter in order to get a website up and running, you can pick and choose the bits you think are appropriate. You can always come back to them later. It's always your call, I can only suggest, advise and recommend.

  • 👍 TIP – I find the best way is to learn a little, do a little. Rather than learn a lot then try to put it all into practise. Make mistakes. Make lots of mistakes - this is how we learn best!
