Hi, it's Paul. Now, did you know that online education is a huge growth market. In 2027 is expected to exceed $1 trillion worldwide. That's one and 12 zeros afterwards. That is massive. That is a huge opportunity. So if you have a specialist skill and it can be anything from dog grooming, dog training, accountancy, playing a musical instrument, how to cut fingernails.
The most obscure subjects are out there somewhere for someone to want to find. So thinking about creating an online course for your business is a really exceptionally good idea, and many people are successfully doing this throughout the world right now. If you do some Googling about online business and online coaching and online training courses, you'll see for yourself what a massive growth industry is and why right now is a great opportunity and a great time to get involved.
So how do you go about creating an online course? Well, putting all the technology to one side for just a moment. The most important thing is to actually bring down all of your knowledge in your specialist field. Write it all down to start off with a Google document or a word document. Just like you're writing a book structure into chapters.
I would say, I mean, everyone works in a different way, but the way I would do it is I just literally get all my information, get it out on the page, let it flow out. Once you've got it in there, it's very easy, in a word processor to move it around, put different headings in there, restructure it and so forth, depending on what you're doing.

You might find it very useful to record videos, to accompany the written text that's going to go with the lessons for the course that you're going to build. So, for example, if you're doing, I don't know, dog grooming, you might want to actually demonstrate someone filming you grooming a dog in a specific way. Or if you're playing a musical instrument again, you may something.
You may want somebody to come and film you. Or if you're on your own, you can just position the camera in a certain way so they can actually see the fingers on the musical instrument or the wrists or whatever it is that you're playing. You can take some video shots to accompany the written text so that you're actually showing people who, as well as explain to them what it is they have to do.
If you're using a piece of software, you can use screen shares to record the screen, show the pulldown menus, the checkboxes, all the different configuration parameters that you will selecting as you will explain to somebody how to use a bit of software or to do something online using their computer. So that's basically the first set of steps for creating your course, get your knowledge onto the written page, get it into Word or Google document something like that.
You can move it around, put some section headings in there, and then record some video to go with it. We can also do is to create some images that you want to make your course colorful, engaging and interesting. And it could be that some extra images is added into the body of the text will make it more interesting and more appealing to your audience.
So that's the first part of how to do online courses very quickly and very easily. I'm going to the second part of video, so watch out for that one next. Once again is Paul from Build Your Online Business. Thanks very much. Bye now.
